Went to the San Francisco flickr holiday photo swap meetup held in the Mission this evening. I shot this picture from the rooftop bar at, Medjool's, where we metup. Right across the street they were showing Alfred Hitchcock's "Vertigo" on the wall with subtitles so we were assuming it was at a restaurant. It looked pretty cool. And I had to get a shot even tho' my S2 takes CRAPPY photos in lowlight, the upside is the 12x's zoom is WOW. So, I got this dim but nifty shot. It captures the moment well. How I love living in SF. How I can't believe it's December and I can be drinking red wine on a roofbar with only a sweater on pretending to talk shop with other photobloggers. Go figure. Anyway, this is the part in the movie just before Jimmy Stewart gets Ambushed by Kim Novak. They're already at the Mission and she's just about to run up the bell tower stair in the next scene. I got pics of that too but they're sooo dark. I dared not tempt your mocking me. |
